Introduction

Haynes and The Dump, two distinct entities with unique requirements, approached our team to address their operational challenges. While each had its own reasons for considering a transition, both sought to enhance their customer experience, improve their logistics, and consolidate their systems.

Our task was to seamlessly integrate both entities onto a single instance of the Opti B2C platform while improving logistics and fulfillment. The aim was to establish a more vibrant interface and streamline their online sales and marketing efforts.

Solutions Implemented:

  1. Unified Platform Integration: We successfully brought Haynes and The Dump onto one instance of Opti B2C. This consolidation not only improved management and operations but also provided a consistent user experience.

  2. Logistics and Fulfillment Enhancement: We introduced an intelligent system that ensures whenever a customer orders a product, it gets picked from the warehouse closest to them. This change significantly reduced delivery times and increased customer satisfaction.

  3. ERP Rectification: Haynes, in particular, was grappling with an underperforming ERP system. By integrating the new Opti version, we addressed the system's issues, enabling them to capitalize on online sales through effective marketing.

  4. Unified Branding: Despite being on the same platform, we ensured that Haynes and The Dump maintained distinct brand identities. However, they both benefited from a clean, modern interface, unifying their look while preserving individuality.

  5. Shared Inventory Systems: We created a robust inventory system that leverages shared warehouses. Built-in logic routes products efficiently, ensuring that both entities can serve customers from the closest warehouse, thereby optimizing operations and reducing costs.

  6. inriver Integration: Recognizing the need for an effective Product Information Management (PIM) tool, we integrated inriver. This tool has since become the central system for product data, seamlessly feeding the website with accurate and up-to-date information from other systems.

  7. SEO Enhancement: To ensure that both sites had optimal online visibility, we implemented advanced SEO strategies, resulting in improved search rankings and increased organic traffic.

The Results

Both Haynes and The Dump experienced significant operational improvements post-integration. With a shared platform, optimized logistics, and a unified inventory system, they were equipped to offer enhanced customer experiences, while still giving each brand their own separate feel.

The integration of inriver ensured that product data was consistent, accurate, and efficiently fed into their online systems. Lastly, the SEO efforts made sure that both brands maintained a strong online presence, driving more organic traffic to their sites.

Both Haynes and The Dump, with their distinct identities, are now thriving in the digital landscape, thanks to tailored solutions that put their customers first.
